Pickle-Ball

Pickle-Ball is a bit of tennis, racquetball, badminton and ping-pong all rolled into one. Anyone can have fun playing the game. It doesn’t require a tremendous amount of skill, like tennis. In Pickle-Ball players hit plastic, perforated balls with lightweight wooden paddles over a three-foot-high net. The court is 20′ by 44′ which is the size of a conventional badminton doubles court. The rules are similar to tennis, except players serve underhand. Pickle-Ball is perfect for children as well as adults. The game is mainly shot placement and game strategy, not brute power or strength. While it’s an excellent aerobic activity, the small court and nature of play mean you don’t have to run all over chasing the ball.
