COVID-19 Protocols for Sept. 18th Opening

Dear Members,
We are extremely excited to start our 46th indoor tennis season on Saturday, September 18, 2021. With Covid numbers rising we are following much of the same protocol as last season, at least until the end of this calendar year. We will keep following the Covid numbers and re-evaluate our policies as we deem necessary.

PREPARING TO PLAY

  • Please do not come to the club if you or anyone in your household is sick or not feeling well.
  • Facemasks must be worn when entering, while in the actual building, and onto the court. Once on the court if you are vaccinated you can choose to remove your mask. If unvaccinated you are required to wear the mask. Entry into the building will not be permitted without a mask.
  • Social Distancing must be followed at all times on and off the court. (6 feet apart)
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer before going to the court. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available throughout the club. Hand sanitizer will also be available on every court.
  • Please bring your own water. Water fountains are closed.
  • Arrive as close as possible to when you need to be there and leave directly after playing.

WHEN PLAYING

  • When playing doubles, coordinate with your partner to maintain physical distancing.
  • Please social distance.
  • Please bring your own towel. We will not provide them.
  • Maintain physical distancing if changing ends of the court.

AFTER PLAYING

  • Locker room sinks and toilet areas will be available. Lockers and dressing areas are closed off until further notice.
  • Lobby area will be closed again until further notice. No spectating.
  • Leave the court as soon as reasonably possible. No social activity or congregating after play.
  • Shower at home. Showers and Saunas are not available.
  • Use hand sanitizer after playing or coming off the court. Leave building immediately after play.

We want to thank everyone again for your patience, understanding and support. This is not what we expected to deal with for another season.
